Artist Inspiration.... Konstantin Kacev

The artwork that you are viewing is by artist Konstantin Kacev. Konstantin was born in the USSR in 1967 and exhibits both in NYC and in Paris.

I love his work because his painting skill is amazing! The objects look like you can just reach in the image and grab them! I truly love the collage effect with the portrait emphasis. His work takes on the appearance of "studies" and yet rings with completion. The surrealism captures my attention. You can learn more about Kacev at konstantinkacev.com.

Another way to "read" paintings......

Here's a little teaching/speculation/lecture about three major paintings.... Kind of an interesting way to study art.

Artist Inspiration... Akiana Kramarik

"When you spend 400 hours on a painting 6 days a week 3-5 hours a day, you will understand why I say it is like a child growing in a womb...Every single painting that I created has a heart beat if you listen... you can really hear it."  Akiane, 17

These paintings are done by child prodigy, Akiana Kramarik. Take a look at her website - you are not going to believe this! artakiane.com For a quick overview, read about her in wikipedia.

Akiana is a self-taught painter who was inspired and taught to paint by God through visions of heaven (her parents were atheists at the time). Starting at the young age of four, we can watch the progression of her painting. Her lighting, her expressions, her amazing portraiture will absolutely astound you! Akiana is also a poet, pianist and writer! Her creative expression knows no boundaries! She has been featured in the past on both Oprah and CNN. Akiana is now 17 years old and continues to inspire her audience with her beautiful work.

Artist Inspiration...Beata Bieniak

Today our artistic inspiration comes from photographer Beata Bieniak. I love her work because it's fresh and whimsical and I kind of enjoy seeing large animals fly through the air - throw back from the Monty Python days. For more Beata, you can see her Facebook page.
