Jaycee Dugard's Story

Today i just publish one item... it's the story of Jaycee Dugard, a young girl abducted at age 11 and kept for many years in a tent compound in the back of a convicted pedophile's yard. She was raped continually and gave birth to two girls were are now teenagers. It took many years for the police to find her even though there were at least 60 documented visits from parole officers to the home.

This is a tear-jerking, gripping 60 minute interview by Diane Sawyer recorded last February plus another 20 minutes of your typical news speculation on why they didn't find her sooner. Jaycee recently released a book about her story.

This is a story of a beautiful girl turned woman of remarkable courage and fortitude who survived the most hellish nightmare. It's also the story of a persistent mother who never lost hope. It's a story of strength of soul and character and it will speak to all of us. We gain strength from other's stories of courage and hope.

The end of the interview is perhaps the most powerful.  It's found in the summary at the very end of the video. Be prepared with a box of tissues.
